01.19.2011

Around 6 pm I was on a train on my way to Soho thinking of what story could i possibly create in order to "immortalize" this random day ...

Just a few hours later we found ourselves in a strip club, and two of my girl friends have "lost" their bras right there not without help of a "professional " hands. Later I "carried" one of those bras to Downtown bar as a pilot helmet tied up right under the chin, as supposed to.

The word of the day is RAUNCHY. What a wonderful and definite description of a lot of sights, thoughts and activities. "Raunchy" is so adopted to my every - day vocabulary!

Let me see your papers.

Girls night out turned out pretty violently.
My innocent and slightly flirtatious joke with by walking - in inside of a bar two dudes "Can I see your IDs?" was met with an aggression "Can I see your papers? Oh, what, not funny anymore?" followed by a whole tirade about "fucking" immigrants and "I know who to call" ... My jaw practically felt down in amusement.
Speaking of immigrants, that the whole America is built on, especially New York... Errr.... guys? We are not even talking about manners.
Later we concluded, that was probably a bizarre "Connecticut" pick - up line...
In my memory, this is the first time within 5 years on the territory of this country, when I was verbally sent back to my country with every possible profanity known ... and by a guy.

Vivat Technologies!

My ex - lover sent me a text saying that he wanted to make it an official end and he was moving on in life, therefore he deleted me from Facebook....
Um, I have dual feelings: on the one side I feel insulted, we could've stayed friends or don't i at least deserve a normal conversation or text? On the other hand, am I behind technologies and should move on myself? The necessity of having an uncomfortable conversation gets old, and a lot easier to solve things through the social network?
If you don't do anything, It's on you. If you succeed, It's because of you.

Gay New York.

New York is a Gay city. That's official. Those that are not gays are gays in a closet and sooner or later will come out ... .
Brings me back to July, 14 2007. The first day I've moved form Florida to New York and my best friend took me for a walk in Mid Town. Despite my deep cleavage I was left unnoticed walking alone side with my guy friend. At the same time the looks his had been getting from every single male passing by made him say in amusement that he never thought he would become a competitor to me (!!!) in a love field.

2011....

Well, I guess, my secret New Year's resolution has started to work from the very first week, when all of my "useless connections" were found left behind in 2010. Despite the fact, that all of the "connections" actually left me behind, the goal was achieved, the matter is everything, details are not important.
